As the Berlin-Brandenburg SIBB e.V. Association of the Digital Economy, we have been maintaining a SIBB "Industry 4.0" forum for several years. The Industry 4.0 Application Center in Potsdam is a unique point of contact in the region for company representatives to get a clear picture of the various scenarios in which software solutions can be used in manufacturing processes, and to gain in-depth specialist knowledge within the group. We were very happy to visit the Application Center at the University of Potsdam with members of the SIBB and are planning to do so again in the future. In our opinion,  there are two developments that will have a particularly strong influence on tomorrow's business model: ERP systems in the Internet of Things and the transformation of many companies from producers to service providers.
